In May of 2007, I traveled to India on a business trip. I was an instructor of a computer program that our company's off-shore support team was also using. The four of us that traveled stayed about four weeks in Chennai (formerly Madras), on the east coast.
We had only a little time for sightseeing and we were somewhat unenthusiastic about that anyway because, we discovered, May is an extremely hot and humid month in India. Traveling outside during the day was a bad idea as the temperature never went below 100F. Some days, if my conversion calculations are correct, it hovered around 115F or more.
